If you’re in the market to buy a home,  you’ve no doubt come across a flipped home. This is typically an older home recently purchased, renovated and put back on the market. Flippers will usually update the home with new appliances and countertops, an open floor concept, new paint and sometimes new plumbing and fixtures.  Exterior elements may also be upgraded. Buyers can enjoy a move-in ready home, and sellers can earn a profit.  But is a flipped home right for you?

She suggests that before you fall in love with the snazzy new backsplash and shiny wood floors, be sure to pay attention to the location, the home’s history, and the home’s true condition.
