Locally grown, fresh-picked veggies, herbs and fruit are some of the joys of the warm weather months. Even better is getting your bounty directly from the source at a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) garden.

Now’s the time to sign up for a share in a local CSA, as most offer only a limited number of shares per season. In the Montgomery and Chester County areas, there are a number of CSAs to explore, including Living Hope Farm in Harleysville, Pennypack Farm in Horsham, Snipes Farm in Morrisville,  Sankanac CSA in Phoenixville and Kimberton CSA in Kimberton. Tilling and sowing has already begun at many CSAs, with the harvest season beginning in May.
