Spring is here – and that means gardeners of all abilities are visiting nurseries and garden centers to select their plants. But picking the perfect flower, veggie, bush, tree or herb is not always a simple task.
You need choose plants that will thrive in your garden. Most importantly, you need to pick plants that are healthy. Here’s some advice from The Spruce that can help you do that. First, take a close look at the plant’s foliage, shape, root system and root ball. Check for signs of insects or stem damage.
