Home buyers in the Chicago area are following a new friend on Twitter. His name is Bob – and he’s a house. Really. It’s a clever home sale marketing tactic dreamed up by Rich Burghgraef, an account executive with sales consulting firm Randolph Sterling, Inc. Bob tweets about the house, his neighborhood and local schools, while also rooting for the Cubs and expressing affection for his friend, the Stop sign and his stepson, the Swing Set. He’s funny, charming, engaging and very effective. The Tweets generated a high number of buyer visits and eventually a sale.
