The pandemic has literally colored every aspect of our lives – as evidenced by the early release of the 2021 colors of the year. At a time when being stuck inside has created a new appreciation for the outdoors, next year’s trending paint colors are expected to be warm and comforting, with shades that tie back to nature.
Several paint companies have already announced their 2021 colors, including Sherwin Williams which has chosen an earthy bronze shade that can be used to create a sanctuary space for mindful reflection and renewal. PPG has introduced a trio of colors that mimic the hues of sand, ginger and the turquoise sea. Behr is going all out with a 21-color palette sorted into themes of optimism, calm and quiet.
