There are many “diamonds in the rough” for sale. There are plenty of properties with great potential that may be in a good location, have beautiful space and sunny rooms and the perfect back yard, but may also have worn carpeting, and out-dated bathrooms. With a little vision and elbow grease you may be able to transform this home into a real winner.

Cosmetic repairs are easy if the house is structurally sound with all the systems in good condition.The price should reflect the condition of the house and the seller should be willing to. A home that needs work is usually priced accordingly.

Try to use your visual imagination when house hunting—especially if you are trying to get a great deal. Besides it is always nice to redesign things just the way you like it!
