Buying a home can be tough these days. With high prices and low inventory, you may feel priced out of the market or unable to secure a winning bid. If that’s you – and you don’t need to find a home immediately — CNBC suggests putting your purchase plans on hold until market conditions are more favorable for you.  Doing so could help you avoid potential pitfalls of paying too much and possibly forgoing important parts of the homebuying process. These include home inspections, which some buyers are opting to NOT do in order to win a bidding war. Or, you might overlook some of the buying factors most important to you, such as location, neighborhood, school district, space, amenities and home condition.
