The vibrant reds and golds of Autumn can be a beautiful backdrop that makes your home really pop. Even if you don’t have trees on your property, you can add curb appeal with pots of fall flowers, pumpkins, or a front door wreath. Bake an apple pie, or light an apple-scented candle to create a welcoming aroma as buyers walk through the door. Buyers will be looking beyond the décor, of course, so be sure to have your home systems in good working order. Fall buyers will be especially interested in your furnace and chimney. Have both cleaned and inspected and have the paperwork ready to show buyers that the work has been completed.
